Works on paper, though fragile, can survive for decades if cared for properly. This year's Behind the Scenes will cover methods of preserving works on paper, including prints, photographs, and books, and discuss some of the techniques professional paper conservators use to restore works damaged by rough handling or environmental factors such as heat and humidity or light.
