MAM offers the community exhibitions and education programs that create stimulating, art-filled environments that engage the mind, spirit and heart.
MAM presents classes for students from pre-school through adult and offers a diverse selection of media in hands-on classes.
All classes are held in the comfortable, spacious, well lit and ventilated classrooms located on the lower floor of MAM.
In addition to a variety of educational opportunities throughout the year, MAM offers three regularly scheduled programs: SECOND SATURDAYS FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES are hands-on, fun art workshops occurring from 11 am -12:30pm on the second Saturday of every month. Please pre-register.
LIFE DRAWING CLASS is an ongoing session that provides artists an opportunity to draw from a live model in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Wednesdays 6-8pm, must be 18 years or older. Please note: this evening class will NOT be held during June, July and August. Figure Drawing will resume the first week in September.
NEW! OPEN STUDIO NIGHTS are a free, monthly program for young people ages 13-18. Have the museum to yourself the second and the fourth Thursday of every month to check out our exhibits, see live demos of new methods and materials, and work on your own art projects in our excellent facilities. 6-8pm, call for more info.
CLASS PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY: All classes require pre-registration. Registration is only confirmed with full payment or a non-refundable $20 deposit. Registration fee (minus $20 deposit) is refundable only if cancellation is made one week prior to the start of class. |
