Twenty-six black and white photographs by Kristi Hager were commissioned by the Montana Department of Transportation to document bridges scheduled for replacement or restoration. Many of the images are included in the book, Conveniences Sorely Needed: Montana's Historic Highway Bridges 1860 - 1956, by Jon Axline, published by the Montana Historical Society Press in 2005. |
