Saturday Free Multi-Age Workshop: Mimi Jung: Just Between Us

Join professional artist Alli Batt to experiment with simple weaving techniques using yarn, fabric, or paper in a workshop focused on the exhibition Mimi Jung: Just Between Us, on view through Apr. 13, 2023. Tour the exhibition, then make art. You can expect to finish a small artwork using tapestry or fixed-loom weaving. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure a spot. Children under age 7 should be accompanied by an adult. All materials are provided and all skill levels are welcome—just bring an open mind.

Allison Batt has been a K-8 Art educator in the Missoula area for eight of her ten years living here. She studied Art at Indiana University, got a teaching endorsement from the University of Montana, and a master’s in art education from The Art of Education University. In her own artwork she enjoys painting, weaving, and working in clay.
