After School Art Adventure

Ages 6 to 11.
Young artists are invited to explore a variety of art mediums inspired by the exhibitions at the Missoula Art Museum. This six-week program includes engaging gallery tours and hands-on projects that connect to artworks featured in the museum’s current auction.
This program fosters creativity and hands-on learning for young artists, with direct inspiration from MAM’s exhibitions.

Rolling admission is accepted and pro-rated prices are available for those who sign up after a session has started.
SESSION 4 Focus:
Feb 18- View Dagney Walton's show and make a "Ghost Story" using painting and collage.
Feb 25- View "Women's Work"- have each student present a favorite piece. Begin work on a fabric piece
March 4- Continue work on a fabric piece
March 11- View Jason Elliott Clark's show and make stencil prints.
March 25- View the Native American Collection, have kids present a favorite piece. Begin work on coil pots.
April 1- finish work on Coil pots.
