Laura's Legacy

After 35 years of visionary leadership, Laura Millin will step down as MAM’s Executive Director in June 2025. Under Laura’s tenure, MAM has become a vibrant, community-centered institution showcasing contemporary art from the Intermountain West. Her transformative vision led to the expansion of MAM’s educational programming, the representation of Indigenous artists, and the completion of a major building renovation—all while keeping admission free and fostering meaningful community partnerships. Laura’s legacy is deeply woven into MAM’s success and will continue to inspire for generations.

To honor her impact, we are launching Laura’s Legacy Fund, to provide the financial support needed to recruit dynamic leadership and keep MAM on solid footing as the next Executive Director gets established. We invite our incredible community of supporters to join us in celebrating Laura’s legacy by contributing to this special campaign. With generous support from MAM’s donors, both large and small, we can build upon Laura Millin’s success and set the table for MAM’s next leader.

Together, we can continue MAM’s mission of championing artistic expression and building community through art.

Thank you for being here with us, to the next 50 years and beyond!
