Saturday Free Family Workshops - Krissy Ramirez

Join professional artist Krissy Ramirez in a workshop focused on Willem Volkersz’s retrospective exhibition, The View From Here, on display until June 24, 2023. Make collages, clay coil constructions, and more! Volkersz draws our attention to narratives that explore ideas of migration, traveling, and the appreciation for North America as the land of opportunities.

The whole family is invited to make art together in these artist-led, free workshops. Ramirez will guide participants through the show and and then lead in the creation of artworks based on what you see. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure a spot. Children under age 7 should be accompanied by an adult. All materials are provided—just bring an open mind.
