Join us for a special evening honoring the installation of Es wičms čA̓ es mlk̓ʷmulexʷ t snčf̓l̓ep – Coyote is Seeing All of the Land, a monumental 22-foot steel sculpture by the late Jaune Quick-to-See Smith (1940–2025, CSKT) and her son Neal Ambrose Smith. Created in the final months of her life, this powerful and playful work fulfills her vision of a permanent sculpture in Missoula’s Art Park.
Fabricated locally by Wolf Magritte, the sculpture stands as a bold expression of Indigenous presence and resistance, set against the backdrop of the old Carnegie Library. Join us in celebrating Quick-to-See Smith’s lasting legacy and this landmark public artwork.
Free and open to all.
