First Friday Curatorial Talk: Rachel Allen

Guest Curator Rachel Allen (Nimiipuu/Nez Perce) will speak about the new exhibition We Stand with You: Contemporary Artists Honor the Families of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relative Crisis which is open in the Lynda M. Frost Gallery of Contemporary American Indian Art from May 3 through Sept. 7, 2024. The exhibition invites Indigenous and descendant artists to bring awareness to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relative crisis in Montana. We Stand with You welcomes Indigenous voices from artists with a variety of Tribal affiliations who reside in communities across the state.

Rachel Allen grew up in Great Falls and is currently exhibition special project manager and co-curator of the upcoming Joe Feddersen retrospective at the Northwest Museum of Art and Culture in Spokane, WA.
