First Friday With Stella Nall & Jennifer Leutzinger, Delia Touché, And Brittney Denham
October 3
5:00 pm - 7:00 PM
Music by Dylan Running Crane
Celebrate October First Friday with two compelling exhibitions at the Missoula Art Museum.
Rearranging Stars features artists Jennifer Leutzinger, Delia Touché, and Brittney Denham Whisonant. This exhibition grew from conversations among the artists, who share roots in printmaking and book arts and discovered a mutual passion for repurposed, experimental quiltmaking.
Centered on the star quilt the show reflects quilting’s rich history as a medium for personal and communal storytelling. Blending tradition with abstraction, each artist interprets the star motif in a unique visual style, using it as a shared language to explore identity, memory, and creative expression.
Stella Nall: Offerings from My Hear. Nall, (Apsáalooke descendant) whose Crow name is Bisháakinnesh (Rode Buffalo), is a multimedia artist who combines printmaking, painting, and beadwork to create vivid, accessible works featuring animal imagery. Her distinctive style blends delicate lines and bold colors to explore themes of identity, love, grief, and belonging with both playfulness and depth.
Enjoy live music by Dylan Running Crane and the opportunity to engage with artists and community at this celebration of culture and creativity. Winner of our Member September Raffle will be announced at 5:30pm!
