Teen Art Project (TAP) Arlee Community Celebration: Teen Artist Presentation And Exhibition
June 20
3:45 - 5:30
Everyone is welcome! Join Arlee teen artists and the community at this public art unveiling and celebration at the Arlee CDC (92555 Hwy 93, Arlee). In collaboration with Resident Teaching Artist Cameron Decker, MAM, and the Arlee CDC, several high school teens from Arlee High School and Nkwusm Salish Language School designed large murals to be displayed on the exterior walls of local business in downtown Arlee, responding to the question, What is Beyond the Frame?
View the murals and their connection to culture, language, and community.
Learn how these murals beautify the landscape, inspire pride, and give voice to the next generation of young artists.
Refreshments will be served.
