Open Call: Art Park Summer 2026
The Missoula Art Museum is now accepting artist submissions for the 2026 Art Park exhibition season.
Located in the heart of downtown Missoula, the Missoula Art Park is a highly visible public space that welcomes thousands of visitors each year. With seating, native landscaping, and open public access, the Art Park serves as a place of rest, reflection, and gathering for our community—making it a dynamic site for public art. Exhibition Dates: May–September 2026
Exhibition Overview
MAM seeks 2–5 artworks for installation in the Art Park from May to September 2026. Sculptural work is strongly encouraged, but all media suitable for long-term outdoor display will be considered. Selected works must remain installed for the full exhibition period.
Proposals will be evaluated on:
• Artistic merit
• Safety and structural integrity
• Suitability for the space
• Durability
• Opportunities for public engagement
Individual artists, artist collectives, and curator-led proposals are welcome to apply.
Honorarium
Selected artist(s) will receive a $3,000 honorarium to support travel and installation expenses.
If multiple artists are selected, this amount will be divided equally.
Note: Student artists are not eligible.
