Brian Maguire: Outrage

MAM is pleased to present the exhibition and accompanying catalog of Brian Maguire's paintings, Outrage: Missing and Murdered Indigenous People in Montana. It is thanks to the five-year commitment by the artist, who, at great expense and effort, faithfully documented the missing and murdered Indigenous people in Montana through his passionate memorial portraits. He began the project at our invitation in 2020 as a Fulbright Scholar and stayed in Montana for five months, returning in 2021, 2022, 2023, and, most recently, February 2025.
