Summer Teen Art Project 2025
June 17-August 7, 2025
The Summer Teen Art Project (TAP) 2025, running from June 17 to August 7, is an immersive arts and leadership program for high school students. Participants will collaborate with artist Johana Laporte and mentor Janaína Vieira-Marques to create a mixed-media mural inspired by keystone species—the Bison, Beaver, and Prairie Dog. The mural will be displayed at the Adventure Cycling Association, with 500 posters distributed throughout the community. Through research, guest speakers, and creative workshops, teens will explore environmental conservation and cultural significance while developing artistic and leadership skills. Open to 20 students, TAP culminates in a public unveiling celebration. Register now and complete the brief application!
